This week we are looking at the new LE 1956 Corvette in Venetian Red from DM.

OK! Now before you all say “What another Corvette” let me say that this was a very important year for Corvette as they answered back at the Ford T-bird with a little bit of performance this year with the High-Performance 225 hp 265 ci V-8 engine complete with dual four barrel carbs. While we are on the engine take a good look at all the detail that the boys at DM stuffed into this small area like the detail in plumbing and wiring, the linkage on the bad ass dual carbs with clamps and all that cool stuff and the fully wired windshield washer bag with lines running up to the little squirt tips by the wipers.

Of course they did a wonderful job on the body as well with all the new tech door hinges that open and close with ease. The hood over the power house with it’s telescoping prop rod the gas filler door which works just great and the color matches the rest of the car pretty darn good. And like the recently released 57 Vette if you look under the hard cover you will find a nicely detailed soft top.

Now onto the trunk and you will find the spare tire comes out along with the hard cover which of course has the detailed jacking instructions mounted on it as well as the rubber mate that also comes out and reveals the lug wrench under it. Lets not over look the interior on this beauty with great looking bucket seats with the right pattern and all the gauges you can fit on the dash of this Vette OH did I tell you it’s a automatic that’s right power glide baby in all it’s glory and if you look hard enough you can read the shift pattern. And last but not least a nice fitting hard top that really looks good on this bad boy!
