| |
|
| |
Thanks to Elric Ryan (Jay) for undertaking this project,
which was to select the best of the best so to speak. These were
the best diecast replicas created during the 2005 model year by the manufactures
we follow at JSS Software. |

Disclaimer: |

Our results are in no way deemed to be 100% accurate nor
are we claiming that we have determined these models to be the best
models of 2005 by any mint. Our results are based on polls presented
to collectors that visited our site who voted for their favorite model
from a supplied list, which we replicated below. View
these findings as a guide to what "popped
the cork" of the visitors to JSS, nothing more. |

The
Winner of the first annual "pop your cork" award

"The Danbury Mint" 1969
Chevrolet Yenko Nova a true classic
if there ever was one. All models nominated for consideration by you, are
visitors, were worthy of this award, however, there could be only one
winner. Congratulations to all nominees they too were winners. |

Congratulations to "The Danbury Mint" on what I consider
to be one of the most detailed 1:24th scale models on the market during
the 2005 model year. The ’69
Yenko Nova set new standards on what collector's have come to expect
in return for their hard earned dollars, I believe “The Danbury
Mint” is up to the challenge.
Again congratulations to the design team at "The Danbury Mint" for winning
our award, thank you for allowing us to have some fun while doing so,
and for allowing our many visitors to share in your excitement of each
new model released throughout the year; it is appreciated. |

The models
nominated for the "Pop your cork" award are listed below. |
| |
|
| |
All models released during 2005 were presented to our
visitors for nomination as the best model from each mint. We took
those nominations and posted a poll each week to decide what model our
visitor’s
perceived to be the best from the mint listed. The winner from
each poll are what constituted which cars made it to our " best
of the best" poll, with only one model crowned the winner of the "pop
your cork award" by you are visitors.
The “best of the best” poll ran for one week with only
one vote allowed from each computer. Visitors to our site viewed
the “Best
of the Best” poll over 1000 times, drawing the most interest of
all previous polls making it a very exciting time at JSS Software. JSS
would like to thank all our visitors who participated in what we considered
to be a historic event for our site. Again thanks to each and every
one of you, our loyal visitors, for your continued support. |
