  Pro Street
Pro Street 'Vette - My Best Friend flips over anything with a big engine and fat tires. As a gift, I built him this 1/24th scale Speed Shop and altered a Danbury Mint Pro Street Corvette. The building is Gator board, clad in sheet styrene, then painted to represent different materials. The interior is also styrene with a store bought car lift and various pre-made shop equipment. The fuse box and conduits are pieces of aluminum, while the tire rack is plastic tubing. There's that 75 watt bulb again working it's magic. Feels like a hot summer night with the smell of gas and oil floating in the air.

  21st Century
Still looking good in the 21 Century - This photo was taken for Mark Olson's Turbine website. I used the Speed Shop for the background and shot the scene outside, in the late afternoon. I blurred the photo somewhat to get a "mood" going.
