A disappearing scene sadly.... last week in my hometown, they finished knocking down the main street bowling alley building, just a flat gravel lot now.
Two other buildings the city has put barricades in front to divert pedestrians and on-street parking from danger of falling debris.
It's a good thing photographers documented "the way it was" like this, Chet.

Neat scene. We have a block in town where every building has been torn down but one, with the rest of the block made into a parking lot. A lot of parking for one building. It's sad to see them torn down and nothing put back to replace them. Our town knocked down a half block of historic building and put up a modern office building that looks really out of place with all the other historical buildings around the courthouse square.
