Hi guys, my precious poppa passed away this past Sunday, that's why I've not been posting. Dementia is an awful disease. We lost him awhile back but we lost him physically Sunday. He is healed now. I was blessed to have him for 58 years. His funeral is tomorrow. Please keep us in your prayers, especially my dear sweet momma, she's lost her life partner of 60 years. Thanks guys, each of you are blessings in my life. You all are my friends and I just wanted to let you all know. Geno.

After losing my Mom last January; my family is afraid that my Dad (now '88') is slipping into dementia. I don't know... they may be right.

Prayers sent for you and yours Gene.

Thank you all so much, it means more than I could ever put into words here. My daughter and I have been helping my momma care for him. It was exhausting at times but I wouldnt change it for a moment. They cared for me for many years and it was my turn to give back. I will miss his kind heart, his wisdom and his smile. I love you pops, so very much. Again, thanks guys.

Sorry to hear this, Gene. While his death was expected it is still a mournful experience when it happens. Prayer said for your and your family's peace.

Gene, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. I am sending my condolences and prayers to you and your family. I lost my dad in 2007, and I still think about him every day, so I think I know how you feel.
