Chuck Berry's passing got me thinking about how lucky I've been to grow up in an era of great cars and great music.

Q. Who played your favorite 'feel good, CRUISING' music?

My answer's'.... ZZ-Top, Bob Seger, 38 Special, Ted Nugent, Foreigner.
Older stuff... Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Elvis, Jerry Lee, Isley Brothers.

I've told my new neighbors if they EVER hear 'Rap' music coming from my house to ...CALL THE POLICE! Someone has broken into my house! LOL!

Not a big fan of the music from the 50's thru the 70's, with a few exceptions like Elvis, Bob Seger, Van Morrison and a few others. I am more into contemporary country and more from today's artists like Nickelback, One Republic, Lifehouse, Imagine Dragons.
NOW, I do have a secret passion in one artist (well not a secret to friends and family) my go to for just about anything needed is Tina Turner, with over 300 songs in my music library from her, she never disappoints.

I used to listen to a lot of the popular music of the 50s, but my preference was and still is Classic Country Music.

The one, the only...legendary.....Lynyrd Skynyrd. I love all kinds of music but Skynyrd is on their own level. I was jammin on Skynyrd once and my neighbor threw a rock through my window...said he couldn't hear it well enough.

there isn't much I don't enjoy, except rap. I even enjoy the big band sounds of the 40's, like Glenn Miller.

Great bunch of answers. I forgot about 'Skynyrd'...I never got to see the original band. I regret that.
JSS has great tastes in music.

My Dad is from eastern Kentucky. I grew up on classic country and bluegrass too.

Now you're talking, throw in a little Willie Nelson and David Allen Coe to go along with them.

Way too many to list. If it is rock and roll from the 50's and 60's I probably like it.

LOL. These are all Cleveland style Slovenian polka gurus who had bands. Although music has been in my life and I love it all I never have remembered the names of any rock star bands. But for whatever reason I remember these four and a few more.
