This reminds me of a story my beloved father-in-law once told me. He and his wife were attending mass one Sunday when all of a sudden the devil appeared on the pulpit screaming, cursing at the congregation. All of the parishioners bolted from the church fearing for their lives and praying for God to help them. Not Mike he sat calmly in the front pew staring the devil right in the eye, remember this man was awarded Six, yes six, bronze stars for his courage. I loved this man, he was a hero of mine.
The devil was astonished that Mike hadn't bolted out of the church too, he began to aim his fury at Mike. However, my father-in-law didn't flinch, not one bit. Finally the devil couldn't take it anymore, he said to my father-in-law, "You don't fear me?" Mike replied "Not even a little!" the devil was dumb founded. The devil asked "Why is that? Do you know who I am?" Mike looked the devil right in his eyes and replied; "I know who you are! I don't fear you because I have been married to your sister for the last forty years!". With that devil vanished while taking to himself, leaving Mike sitting all alone in the pew. End of story! Mike was one tough son-of-a-bitch! I do believe his wife, my-mother-in-law, was the devils sister too. I'm just sayin!
