The Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry Charger. This will be built using the Testors/Lincoln Mint 1/24 diecast. Decals are ordered. This model has the Hemi but I also have their '69 Daytona which does have the 440, I'm just switching engines. Paint has been baked to harden. Man, I have enough projects going on lol, but I love it.

Outstanding project - one of my favorite movie cars.
Hollis Cornell / D4C had one built which is super sweet.
We're always interested in your builds Gene - you do some cool stuff.

I was also kind of partial to the '66 Caprice that was in the movie as well. But, I'd prefer to see a 2-door Caprice done in 1:24.... someday.

And the way the movie ended SUCKED! I wanted to se them get away.

Love to see your progress on this.

Question . . . In the picture of the primered car the shut lines on the passenger door seem fairly wide, but on the painted model they are tightenend up. Is this a camera angle or did you do something to improve the gaps?

Nice work Gene, I too love to see the progress of these models. My eyes are too bad to do this stuff, my hands are bad too; getting old sucks.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it and I'll keep you all updated. I love sharing with my buds lol. Frank, I did close up the gaps with resin and glazing putty, plus a whole lot of filing and sanding. Here's the drivers side gaps, this pic also gives a better representation of the color, it's more true to the real car. It's weird it looks different colors in different lighting.
