I've announced to you all previously that I'm Democratic, but I'm Democratic from another generation. Our current leadership in the party is an embarrassment to what we built up during and after the Great Depression.... when Republicans were acting much like our Democratic leaders today do. I mean back then, Republican's President Hoover sent out our troops to burn out a veterans encampment in Washington looking to get their pension from Congress. Now we have Democratic Governors asking for troops to keep people inside their house because of the flu. It's absolutely insane.

I didn't put my name on the ballot for the State party convention, but because Pelosi and Schummer are such blockheads, I went to our county party head and put my name into consideration to fill the openings we have. Not enough filed in our county, and be assured I will not be a quiet delegate if I get appointed.

I haven't been much aware of the Senator from Louisiana, other than his name. But after watching this video, I fully respect all he said. And I would be glad to see him get nominated in their national convention to replace Pence.

(Pretty hard for him to push out Trump for President. Trump holds all the party machinery now)

Our auto industry is not producing anything right now (although I understand that we will be getting involved in the effort to supply more ventilators for hospitals). Plan is to re-evaluate a restoration of assembly on March 31.

The point made in the video about the urgency for national decisions about our economy being made within DAYS is absolutely correct. We can't build vehicles for people making no incomes sitting at home because their state government is trying to act "politically correct" with public policy, kicking the can.

Pelosi and Schummer must have a lot of dirt on powerful people or they are being funded by a wicked powerhouse who recognizes that both Pelosi and Schummer are easily manipulated.

Pelosi appears to be losing many of her faculties and Schummer is merely a power hungry ass.

I can't believe that Dems aren't embarrassed by the actions of these two idiots and wish the party vision to change - but who is strong enough to do that?

Maybe . . . Cuomo?

Schummer can't speak without notes in his hand to read..... and then he still admits - whenever pressured by a journalist - that he might have used the wrong words. Did he write them in the first place?

Dirt? I think what it is Frank, New York and California control the party machinery (donors). Everyone else is afraid to step out of line, so they elect NY and CA as leaders and in return get committee assignments.

Joe Manchin of West Virginia impressed me the other day, going head-to-head with McConnell. He didn't over-reach, and made a logical argument..... why pass a big corporate welfare handout and leave out basic hospital supplies needed to handle corona. McConnell had no answer, other than the need to pass the bill immediately.

I've worked in situations like that with student government when I was younger. It doesn't take that long to amend a bill. But while you're doing that, everybody is reading the original bill, and what's in it. McConnell obviously wants no one to read the bill. Pass it first.

I think a lot of us are embarrassed right now..... Republicans who demand fiscal restraint watching their leaders supporting runaway deficits and inflation, and Democrats who see Socialists come amidst us in people like Bernie and AC and assume our name.

I worked as President of a large organization many years ago. I watched money get wasted on projects that had nothing to do with the organization after 3 months in office I changed ALL of that. No I wasn't liked one bit; I cleaned the swamp. No it wasn't my way or the highway either all I requested and got was accountability. When I decided to leave the position, the organization was financially stable had a boat load of money for future projects, all buildings were in solid order. Three years after I resigned the organization they filed for bankruptcy, a few of the officers had criminal charges brought against them. ANY organization is only as strong as their leader and he/she who takes the reins needs to be of a strong will; you won't be liked because you don't play ball and steal whatever you can. But you must clean the swamp and don't turn a blind eye to what you know is going on. Just my two cents.
