I think the red car, or one like it, sold in Scottsdale at auction on January 26, 2024 for $165,000 !!!

Yes, the GT was a step up from the regular XR7, and has the big block 427 V-8. Very rare number built with that motor, but it was not exclusive to the GT, they say.
Jack Roush worked on this 427 model when he was employed by Ford, before he went out and formed his own company.
In the video, there is discussion about the GT (with a guy restoring one).
