More Info:
One of the most colorful chapters in drag racing history is the AA/Gas Supercharged coupe. A pioneer in this field was George Montgomery, otherwise known as "Ohio George". George, together with the Malco Gasser, produced some of the greatest rivalries in NHRA competition history. His combination of supercharged engines in a recognizable full body car was the forerunner of the Funny Car and Pro Stock era. The Malco Gasser AA/Gas Supercharged coupe set the standard for the future of drag racing.

Having the pleasure to have seen the 1:1 car race on Long Island in 1967 I anxiously awaited for this replica to arrive. It is deadly realistic and accurate. GMP left nothing out. The super-detailed 427 SOHC is a sight to behold, FULLY plumbed and wired. The '67 Mustang body, which is mounted on a Willy's chassis, features a flip-open hood and a lift-up body that reveals all the intricate detailing that GMP painstakingly included. The model is on huge M&H slicks in back and skinnies on the front, the stance is right on. The awesome metallic aqua paint with all the graphics and logos is perfect. The build quality is very tight, no loose parts or wobbly body sections. Pictures do not do the GMP's Ohio George AA/GS justice; you have to hold it to appreciate it. GMP did a superb job on this image.
