It isn't often in life that you get a second chance, well here is your second chance to own a 1957 Suburban from the Danbury Mint, take it. This stunning workhorse is a repaint of it Green cousin, don't miss your chance to own this one; they won't be around forever.
The Danbury Mint Suburban is a straight up repaint of the Green model, which hasn't been available from the Danbury Mint for years. I longed to own the Green one but refused to pay the auction prices for it, and now I don't have to; I can purchase this one at retail, which happens to be just $129.
Like my pop always said "You never know when a blind squirrel will find an acorn" well here is mine. I love these old trucks; they were the backbone of our country and a part of my life, and that is why I collect old trucks.
As you can see the rear seats are removable with the included tool, simply grash the top of the seat back with the U end of the tool and the flat part on the bottom of the seat, and simply slide it into the back and press it in place. Honestly, it is very easy to use even with my arthritic hands and bad eyes.
The engine detail isn't bad either, remember it's an old tool but truth be told there wasn't much in there in the first place.
