The New Yorker was the beautiful flagship car from Chrysler, and 1948 marked the last year of its classic 1940s body style. It was clearly Chrysler’s top of the line —their finest offering — and in keeping with the luxury cars of the day.
The New Yorker came with a long list of special apppointments including a powerful eight cyclinder engine. Its unique appearance features included optional fog lights with three bumper guards up front, dual side mirrors, dual cowlmounted spotlights, and a massive chrome grille that instantly set it aprart from other cars.
The Danbury Mint 1948 Chrysler New Yorker will amaze you with detail and operating features. The convertible top is removable so you can display it in either the "top up" or "top down" position.
