More Info:
It’s the ultimate pony car on steroids. It gets its name from the slang term given to the Boss 429…"Boss nine" for short. All Business. Its formula is simple…start out with a classic 1969 Boss 429 Mustang, then go to work modifying its giant engine until it’s pumping out so much horsepower it’s hard to keep it on the ground. Mount a specially fabricated aluminum wing to the rear decklid to supply enough downforce to get the massive rear rubber to bite into the asphalt for an entire quarter mile. Add the obligatory nitrous oxide tank for a few hundred extra horsepower, and what you have is a pavementripping monster that will chew up and spit out anything that comes up against it.
Meet the meanest Mustang ever built!
The Pro Mod upgrades on this model are really unbelievable. The hood (with removable hood scoop) lifts off to reveal a highly modified 429 engine, featuring dragracing carburetion with complete linkage detail. Inside the cockpit, you’ll find a full 6point roll cage, racing bucket seats, and accurately replicated competition safety harnesses
