The Danbury Mint 1964 Thunderbird is a "Brand New Tool" for the 1:24th market, if you love these Birds, and I know you do, I suggest you take a closer look at this one.
I have to be honest I am not a big fan of all the Birds. Yes, I said it; I'm not. But there are a few body styles I do like and this is one of them. That said, it is done right, was there ever any doubt; it is a Danbury Mint model and they always do them right.
The color, "Vintage Burgundy Metallic" is a perfect choice for this one, yes I know there are those out there that will disagree with me but it is. I am sure we will see a few repaints of this model and I am sure you will get the color you are lusting for sooner or later.
This model lacks nothing; its fit and finish are superb, shut lines are as tight as I ever seen and the model is a "Bling" machine. For those of you that have no idea what Bling is, it is all those little trinkets in an automobile that look like globs of glue on the competition.
