It doesn’t get any sweeter than this beautiful ’61 Impala Convertible recreated in Twilight Turquoise by WCPD.

1959 Chevrolet.

An absolutely stunning model, a finish so glossy you could shave in it. The hood, doors and trunk all fit snugly. The trim is straight, accurate and period correct. Every option on this replica appears to be spot on. This is a museum quality replica, which was very well executed by WCPD.

Peering into the interior you will be pleasantly surprised by the level of detail found there also. The seat backs fold forward. The material on the seats and door panels has the look and feel of that found in the actual automobile. Stunning, very stunning.

Gazing into the engine compartment will surely push you over the edge, making this a must have replica for sure. Detail, detail, detail… viewing the image below says it all, need I say more?

1961 Chevrolet Impala

Focus your view for a minute on the hood hinges. Notice the springs attached to them, pretty realistic I would say. It would have been nice if the hinges and springs were flat black as I remember them but I won’t nitpick such a minor detail. Wires and lines abound everywhere, recreating a look of realism with outstanding detail. For a minute I thought about turning the key in the ignition. I was sure she would try to crank over it’ that realistic.

The ’61 WCPD is guaranteed to be the centerpiece of any collection wherever it resides. Bottom line, you need this model. I have to be honest though. I wasn't sure I would appreciate the color, Twilight Turquoise, having had the pleasure of viewing a Ermine White and Coronna Cream model previously. I considered those colors to be the "Hot" ones that make this replica the stunning model that it portrays itself to be. Boy, was I wrong. The "Twilight Turquoise" made my eyes pop out of their sockets when I removed it from the box for the first time, it is absolutely gorgeous, with detail beyond my comprehension.

This replica creates the perfect storm; so to speak, it has the look, detail and color making an outstanding replica no matter which way you slice it. Bottom line, this is a Five Star Replica, worthy of a place in the most discriminating collection.
