More Info:
The story of the 1968 Can-Am series revealed the almost total dominance of the McLaren machines save for one talented Lola driver, Denny Hulme. It became almost customary to have the one-two finish of Bruce and Denny. This in spite of a field of spectacular drivers such as: Donohue, Surtees, Bonnier, and Andretti. As the season progressed, it became obvious to all that the end of the ’68 season would also mark the end of the T70 Mark III coupe.
