This is the Pork Chop Nova before it was modified. Who is it that under the car? That might be PC, Buddy or the new Pine Sapian, Crazy Ben. Regardless of who it is what a cool replica this is.
We all owned one like this at some point during our life. Yes, they could have been my legs sticking out from underneath as I dropped the transmission to change the clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing all without a jack. Yes, that’s right without a jack, and I used a broken broom handle as a pilot to align everything back up before attempting to put the tranny back in place. Mom, never knew who broke her broom she does now.
I’m sure we all can relive a time in our life when we were young enough and still able to repair our own car in a place that at the least kept the rain off us if nothing more; I can.
