More Info:
This diorama was done as a D4C fundraiser all the way back in 1999 or there about. The diorama was signed by George Bojaciuk and included a FM color sample Corvette, which had Silver Coves. However, George included the original Corvette with white coves too. The original diorama was not signed by George.
Sheila won the bid for this fundraiser and if memory serves me correct it was a little better than $600. George presented the model to MS. Sheila Kelly, my friend and moderator, of the Lounge on the D4C web site at the car show held at the Franklin Mint in Sept of '99.
Back then I referred to myself as her evil twin because we had so much in common and we kept the lounge active.
I can personally attest to the fact that Sheila had a heart of gold, I was blessed to have had the privilege to have known this fine individual. And I have lots of stories which I can tell about this woman and I will, but you will need to read them in the July 2012 JSS-eNewsletter.
This model is in the possession of JSS and will forever be a reminder of one of the finest people that ever walked the face of the earth, my friend, MS. Sheila Kelly.
Forever "Rest in Peace" "Evil Twin", until we meet again! Amen.
