Here we go , this week it's the new 59 Corvette from Danbury Mint in all it's glory. Frost Blue with White coves and a nice Blue interior with a White soft top, sorry no hardtop this time around. Let's look under-neath for starters, nice X-frame with working suspension and brake lines as usual and don't miss the frame date as it came from the factory. Now flip it over and check out the super paint job on this one in Frost Blue with White coves, only complaint here again is that the gas door does not quite match the rest of the car but not that far off this time. Nice badges on the front and rear of the car with some delicate photo etch wipers that look pretty good. The soft top fit is good and tight, now open the door and take a look at the stunning Blue sports luxury interior with all the dials and gauges that are all readable along with the four speed on the floor and the cloth belts with nice photo etched buckles along with some pivoting sun visors . Only complaint with the interior I have is that the clutch and brake pedals are to far to the left of the gas pedal.
Now on to the heart of any Corvette, the engine pop the hood and you will see a 283 cubic inch, 270hp V-8 with its two four-barrel carburetors, plus some cool wiring and plumbing perfectly scaled and replicated as only DM can do. On to the trunk with its removable spare tire, trunk mat and tire cover with tools and decals. And let's not forget the antenna that goes up and down.
Check out the white paint on the shifter, kinda' looks like a skull.
