The year was 2005 and the poll to claim the top prize of best model at JSS Software was conducted by Elric (Jay) Ryan, after a process of elimination by the visitor's to our site the "King" was crowned and the honor goes to:
Congratulations to "The Danbury Mint" on what I consider to be one of the most detailed 1:24th scale models on the market during the 2005 model year. The ’69 Yenko Nova set new standards on what collector's have come to expect in return for their hard earned dollars, I believe “The Danbury Mint” is up to the challenge. View Model

2011 had some awesome models released throughout the year by all the mints we follow in 1:24th scale. And as the tooling kept improving collector’s anticipation was elevated with each announcement of a 'New release as to what they could expect to see in any 'New release. And those expectations were usually met with eye-popping models. So crowning the "Best" model of 2011 was no easy task, so when our visitors named the Danbury Mint 1956 Buick Roadmaster Convertible you better believe it is worthy of the title.
