Posted - 09/25/2023 : 04:45:26 tcam recently showed images of The Machine. I'll expand into his post, to include AMC as producing these special limited editions for 1970, too.
The AMC Rebel for 1970 included "The Machine". A total of 2326 were made. (Some AMC sources say only 1936 built) By far most well known is the red/white/blue striped package. However, there were other colors sold in very small numbers, without the stripes. Notice, they all include hood tachometers, and AMC's highest performing engine.

Below: These are also Rebel "The Machine", without the stripes and in alternative colors that included blacked-out hood.
