1970 Mustang Twister
I've heard there were only 96 built, split evenly between 351 Cleveland and 428CJ V8 engines, with C6 automatic transmission. (some say it was 50/50 manual on each motor, but my sources conflict so I'm not sure)
Original equipment as sold from factory was the plain hubcaps, with no rear window louvers or spoiler, or front chin spoiler.

Some dealers in the Kansas City district where these were all sold added window louvers, spoiler, and chrome wheels. Many restorers of the car also have added them, but they were not built that way in the factory.

1970 Ford Torino Cobra Twister
I'm less knowledgeable about the Torino. In fact, wasn't even aware of it until recently. However, considering the Mustang base factory package, this looks like the factory Torino. Did they have manuals tramsissions? IDK, but they have one here!
Some sources say 90 of these were made, with 429 Cobra V8's.

This one below is dolled up and modified a bit.

Not sure I believe it, but it is said there were two Ranchero Twisters made. This is supposed to be one of the 2. 'Motor Trend' published a story about it.

I would like to have of each, without the rear spoiler.

I knew there was a Mustang Twister, but the Torino Cobra Twister is a surprise.

Good stuff.
I lean towards the Torino.
