At the time, I've read, some coach-builder companies would modify frames and fabricate custom bodies on any brand of car, not just the upper-level luxury cars like Duesenburg. That may be what the upper-pictured car is. It appears to have a longer wheelbase.
I also think Chrysler offered some longer wheelbase cars, intended for limos, at the time.
