This mild custom rod was built by modifying a 1/24 diecast hardware promo toy/coin bank. The motor is now an Avanti R2 (Paxton supercharged), and there are a bunch of subtle custom touches throughout....Avanti instrument panel/ steering wheel, smoothed running boards, lowered and filled hood front, filled fender spare wheel cavity, softened windshield shape, lowered headlights, dropped suspension, roll-n-pleat upholstery, louvered hood and tailgate, lowered suspension and custom 'steelies', etc.,etc.,etc..

Cliff you are a master builder. I am an old truck guy, love these modified old one's. And yes, I had the pleasure of driving some of these trucks as a kid. Yes, I am that old! Read my story with my friend Billy. As two young kids, we drove the Red Baron. What a freakin' blast. Kids today NEVER will experience the fun we had all those years ago. And it's sad!

I'm nearly speechless. An artist in 1:24 scale.
