I still buy a model or two now and then when something peaks my interest. I just received my Automodello 1969 Chevrolet Kingswood estate station wagon. I picked the Lemans blue color. Let me just say that this model is absolutely incredible! Pictures do not do it justice. I think this might be Jim Cowen’s Best effort yet. Great job Jim.
Sidenote, in the enclosed brochure within the package he is showing an upcoming model of a 1958 Buick Century Cabalaro station wagon! I know many of you would be very interested in this one. I will be getting that one also. I am extremely excited for the 61 Cadillac convertibles that should be coming out soon. I will be getting multiples of those as the 61 and 62 model years are my favorite years for Cadillac.

But I have been fortunate in that I have had only few of them with part issues.I keep them in one place and say I'm going to find nd fix them, but never seem to get to it. It may be the glue. Or it could be humidity where you are. Or both.

I have the Neo 1/43 also. I recently acquired a 118 scale MCG Bill Blass The 1/18 MCG models are very accurate and well detailed. I just don’t have a lot of room to display a bunch of 118 scale models I stopped collecting 1/43 scale as so, many of the ones I had purchased developed issues where all the pieces were falling off and all the chrome trim was popping off. I guess the glue loosens and dries out and the resin must expand in contract. So many pieces that I purchased are now junk.

Got on eBay searching for my holy grail, BOS 1976 white Eldorado Convertible (1:18) but no luck. So I fixed a cocktail and bought three 1:24 models including the DM pink 1957 T-Bird that was missing from my Bird collection. I have the 1961 Cadillac on Reserve and guess I am waiting for the final color selections to click pay now. Depending on the colors I also might buy two as it wouldn't be the first time I bought two of the same car from Automodello just to have multiple colors. The 1958 Buick Century Cabalaro station wagon has caught my interest and will depend on the colors offered.
