This heavy, parts-intensive 1/64 scale Action tractor trailer truck, apparently from this particular Dale Junior Nascar transporter set: [2002 Dale Earnhardt Jr #8 All Star Game Hauler Trailer Transporter Semi Tractor Rig Truck], was a mere $1.21 at a thrift shop. With both tires missing up-front and one missing in the back, mangled mud flaps, distorted, unplated chrome side mirrors and paint chips galore, it definitely needed whatever could be done to it. It is amazing what a black and a silver marker and some black India ink can do to sharply change the appearance of a model. After applying these items, it looks rather presentable.
