I am not a fan of '42-'48 Buicks, mostly because of the rear end styling o four door sedans and convertibles. But this sedanette called out to me and I had to have it. I don't care so much for the blue one though.
I remember opening that white DM box and being blown away by this one. It is a masterpiece as is the companion convertible. I have the Honolulu Blue version also and it is my favorite of the lot.
I love this model. I have seen the original 1:1 from which the measurements were taken. The owner brings it to the car show at the Canal Fest in North Tonawanda, New York, a city a few miles north of Buffalo. He includes a letter from DM in the car's window. Except for cancelling the Canal Fest during Covid, it is celebrated every July.
