I'm trying to remove the frame from the body on a Danbury Mint 57 Chevrolet Convertible and I've removed the 4 screws but will not come apart. This Danbury is different the trunk does not open. I need help taking body off frame.

Thanks guys... post the solution here if you know how to remove it.

I've never worked on any of the DM 57's. I wish I could help.

On my yellow '57 Bel Air convertible, there are also two partially hidden screws located under (actually above) the exhaust pipes, just ahead of the rear axle. These are difficult to see at first. That will require removing those pipes for access to the screws.. I am not sure on this car, but sometimes there are hidden screws above the mufflers. These screws sometimes also serve to hold the front seat in place. Not sure if this car has that. Sorry, I do not have the non-opening trunk version here, but I don't think the mounting hardawrer would be different. Hope that helps!
