If my job offer had come from GM, this is the car I would have ordered.

1978 Buick LeSabre Sport Coupe with 3.8L Turbo


I can't find the Sport Coupe interior in blue.

Looking at it now, I like it. Back then, as a teenager these were horribly boring looking cars. The style and elegance of the '76 and previous years was gone. My dad seriously considered one of these in 1979, he went with the Riviera instead.

I sort of agree with the rest of you guys.
I think 'hate' is a little strong. Back then guys our age were paying attention to the Cutlass Supreme and Monte Carlo at 'this time'.

This particular example is very sharp - for what it is.
