I got to looking through my pics and noticed that I didn't have any pics of this model. An oldie, but I love the 55/56 Pontiacs. I don't understand why FM never capitalized on making a '56.

I agree Gene. FM missed the boat by NOT doing the '56 to go with the other '2'.

Have this one too / love it.

Most guys didn't realize FM did '2' versions of this one. 'This' version has the WWWs - while the other had a 'thin'-whitewall.

I think the '56 was too similar to the '55. Perhaps a '56 may not have been a good seller because of that.

I'd thought of that Steve. Then I thought about DM doing the 55/56 Fords. Pretty much the same scenario. But DM was more likely to do those anyway.

I have this model and love it. Fortunate, many years ago, a diecast expert modeler did some work on my Pontiac. Can not remember all he did on my model but it is super clean.
