The Company was British, headquartered and assembled cars in England, and also assembled vehicles in New Zealand/Australia according to some sources I find. Some plants in Canada too.

Appears the cars have some connection to the Triumph auto brand sold in Britain. Standard Motors bought the Triumph brand and started producing cars after WW2.

Vanguard motors were used in some Ferguson tractors built in England and sold in the USA.
