I am a T-Bird nut and was disappointed DM was not able to complete the series. I was consulting with DM on 1963 & 1966 T-Birds, so close. These were my two favorite model years and I had experience with both.
Not sure why others have not attempted these models in 1:24, to complete the T-Bird series DM started.
Anyone else but me would like 1963 & 1966 T-Bird quality models in 1:24 scale?

I've been talking with Round2, maker of AMT model kits, about expanding their Thunderbird offerings. Currently they keep re-releasing 1966 hardtop and convertible models, and a 1962 roadster occasionally, to go along with 1956/1957/1958 models. It would be great if they fill in the missing years.

I agree, someone should continue the series.

Hi Alfred, I personally like the bodystyles of both the 63 and the 66. However, I would be leaning more towards the 66. I always was more a Corvette guy then the Thunderbird guy. To me Ford never could figure out where they wanted to go with this one therefore there wasn’t much of a following.

64 and 65 are close enough for me.

You can count me in for a '66 - my favorite year.
