Back in 1970 I had a new 1970 Nova SS 396 with all the extra chrome trim and whitewall tires. It was the same color blue as the model shown. Might sound crazy but I only had a few hours to pick something from the dealer lot and I selected my Nova not for the engine, but for the color and chrome trim plus whitewall tires. Sure wish I had a scale model of a 1970 optioned like mine was.
