Absolutely NOT. If it weren't for the Chevette, the Vega would have THE bottom of the barrel for GM at that time.

Absolutely. I love the look of the Vega, kinda like a mini Camaro. They weren't the best quality wise, but they looked cool. My Uncle A.C. had one, he dropped a 283 in it. That little car was quick. It got totalled when a woman ran a red light and he broadsided her. At least no one got hurt.

Since I won't ever need a new motor put in a 1:24 diecast, I say "Yes".

When I worked as a mechanic, long, long ago, these always needed a new engine. As I recall, you had to run pure antifreeze in them.
