Our group here has a varied preference in auto designs. Lets see what happens when the list has to be pared down to a Top 5, with 2 optional honorable mentions
(if you need to avoid the stress of picking what your #4 and #5 is ).

Here's my list, and I found some pics of them. Hope you like some of these, too.
Post some pics. That's part of the fun!

#1 1970 Chevrolet Malibu SS

#2 1963 Chevrolet Corvette split rear window

I've always wanted this in black, with the red interior!

Or this BLUE!

#3 1956 Buick Special Riviera

I choose the Special Riviera over the Roadmaster, because of the grille and trunk ornaments.
A neighbor had one of these, and I always thought that it was neat that these ornaments had the model year on it. Look at it closely on the top and bottom images.

#4 1959 Dodge D-500

#5 1936/1937 Cord 810/812

Honorable mentions:

1956 Lincoln Mark II

1953 Talbot Sunbeam Alpine 2-seater movie car - Grace Kelly & Cary Grant

I believe the car in "To Catch a Thief" was this color.

No Fords or Pontiacs in my top 5, but a couple of Mustangs and the 1968 Firebird would be in a Top 10 list.

The loves of my life are early Corvettes, early Mustangs and old trucks. My hands down favorite automobile was my 1967 Corvette. The Old truck which I hold dear to my heart was a 51 Willy’s Wagon, I still see my Rose driving it around on our property so very proud she didn’t stall it but never shifting out of first gear.

No '56 Chevy, Steve?
I thought for sure you'd list that one.
(I'm diggin' those Rivieras, though)

You can edit your post to cut out my pics from repeating on yours.
There is a "quote" and "/quote" at the beginning and ending of my post that you need to leave in place for the text to stay, and then just blank out the internet addresses of the pics in between.

Thanks. Bill. I’ve cleaned it up. I meant to tack on a ‘56 Chevy as an honorable mention.

Myron, you make me laugh. Rose driving in first gear.
I was home from college and Dad borrowed my 1966 T-Bird, wrecked it. Three days before I had to drive back to Miami from NC and back to college. Dad gave me a blank check and sent me to his friend at a Chevy dealership, with orders of don't go crazy, meaning don't buy a Camaro. So I selected off the lot a fully loaded new 1970 Nova SS, 396, floor shift, mostly because I liked its blue color. I drove that new Nova home in first gear about ten miles. In three days got the hang of floor shifting and drove back to Miami. Thankfully I was already in Miami before Dad got the insurance bill for a teenager driving a 396 Nova.

Your '56 Cadillac might make its way on my honorable mention choices, too, Bob. I forgot that one.
But I'd have to choose between the Mustangs and the Firebird to knock one out of the Top 10 .... a real tough decision.
