Although this isn't it, there is a story that a dealer created a "prototype" by putting a LeMans wagon front clip on an El Camino then went to GM with it to make a pitch for a production version. It's light yellow in color and easily searched online. In fact, there are several privately created Pontiac El Caminos when a search is done.
